Throw / Stay Rope Bag

I don't have anything against rope reels, Personally, I just never liked carrying them.

I've been using a motorcycle helmet bag for a very long time, as was taught by my seniors. After working in dark, wet, and unforgiving humidity, I decided it was time to set out and develop a bag made of a lighter, stronger, and more water resistant material.

I've worked with Arbor Arms on a handful of projects, and I am very grateful to them. They helped me refine my design and made it come to life. This bag is made up of a sup strong and light rip stop material . The material does not hold water, and it has a grommet in the bottom for letting things out, and a loop in the bottom and top for keeping things in. This bag can be used to throw out of, or the bag can be placed and the rope will feed smoothly out of it. Dealers choice.

This bag now has a pocket in the outside - bottom of it to allow for storage of a chemlight. The bag illuminates like a chinese lantern, but also dims the light a bit. We may come out with a different color later, but tan seems to be the best option for all folks right now. 

This is the bag I wish I had when I was working, and I hope it works for you. Pictured is 150' of Dyneema, it will likely hold 2-3x that much if you need it.
